How Artillect Works
Onboarding
Once you’ve enrolled in the Artillect program, we prioritize understanding your unique needs and aspirations. You will be invited to sign up for an onboarding session with one of our skilled artist business counselors. This session serves as an opportunity for us to get to know you better, assess your specific requirements, and ensure we match you with the counselor who best aligns with your artistic vision and objectives. We believe in the power of personalized guidance to help you flourish.
1:1 Engagement
Throughout the cohort program, you’ll engage in a series of one-on-one sessions with your dedicated business counselor. These sessions are designed to provide you with tailored guidance and support, addressing the specific challenges and opportunities you encounter along your artistic entrepreneurship journey.
Your counselor will work closely with you to refine your artist statement, develop your business strategies, and assist you in making critical decisions that align with your creative vision.
Opportunities to Collaborate
Join the other artists in your cohort for collaborative experiences throughout your 20-week program and beyond!
Frequently Asked Questions
Below is more information about the program.
Artillect is a virtual arts incubation program for visual artists who want to make a sustainable living as an artist making the art they want to make.
Our cohort meetings occur regularly on the first and third Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. (Mountain Time Zone) and run approximately 90 minutes.
A portion of all Artillect sales goes to Artifex, our partner 501(c)3-pending organization that supports arts & cultural organizations who are doing amazing engagement with their communities in the northern Rocky Mountain Plains states (NE, ND, MT, SD, & WY). Artists build communities, and several arts and cultural organizations in rural states need some financial assistance in their efforts to help build those communities; Artifex exists to provide that assistance.
